SKF Reviews: Taxi (1932)

Stunt Kitty watches classic films too! In this video, Deb and I discuss the pre-code Warner Bros. classic, 'Taxi' (1932), starring James Cagney and Loretta Young, currently available for streaming on HBOmax.

'Public Enemy' (1931) may have put James Cagney on the map, but it was his follow up, 'Taxi' (1932) that gave him his tapping shoes and his most famous catch phrase, 'you dirty rat'. It also paired him with the luminous Loretta Young, only eighteen but already a Hollywood veteran. Their romantic fireworks light up the screen in the love story set against the backdrop of the New York cab wars.

As passionate film lovers and creators at Stunt Kitty Films, we're excited to share our perspectives on this all-time classic film from Hollywood's golden age that has it all-action, comedy, drama, romance-in spades.
